LIZ URBANIK
Born and raised in Portugal until the age of 18, I decided to move to the U. S with pretty much a dollar and a dream.
My working life started at 15 years old as an housekeeper, but trying to keep my eye on the ball, I finished high school studying at night. Sacrifice and hard work are parts of who I am.
Naturally, I started out in the US cleaning homes, as my English improved and my assimilation to the US culture progressed, so did my love for my work.
Realizing that cleaning is an art, that loving what one does shines through in every part of one’s job, gave me the motivation to start my own business.
After finishing the women’s small business program at Mercy Connections in Burlington, Vermont, I officially opened Gleam, a residential cleaning business that quickly grew and evolved into Urbanik Hospitality.
As clients saw my skills, they started asking me to handle different aspects of their homes. I discovered my real strengths - handling and solving problems efficiently, building relationships with companies, connecting people in different areas while making it all seamless for the clients give me great joy and pride.
My ability to grow, learn and adapt from every experience combined with high standards, a passion for helping others and always giving my very best have helped me grow to Urbanik Hospitality.
I live in Richmond with my son In my free time I like to hike, read, practice Pilates and Karate with my Black-Belt son, and enjoy every sunset in our beautiful state!
Our Services
Premium Package - $5,000/month
Full property management for homes and AirB&Bs.
- Take care of vacation rentals, summer/ winter homes.
- Work with the property owner. I can advertise and rent the properties, make sure all maintenance is up to date, and houses are in good condition inside and out.
- Manage contractors and other vendors, schedule appointments, make sure work is done properly.
- Generally handle all issues regarding the properties.
- Grocery shop and make sure all is ready for occasional visits. Client is assured to have a seamless transition between homes. I can unpack per client’s request.
- Weekly visits to properties to make sure the house is in good condition.
- For some clients who have waterfront properties, I make sure the docks are installed, boats and water equipments are maintained and in the water ready to be used. Same for wintertime. All are cleaned, serviced and stored for the winter.
Rental Property
Renting (creating lease) a home and taking care of property
Granted 24/7 access in case of emergency.

Rental with Light Maintenance
Granted access from 8:00 to 4:00 pm
$350/month
For AirB&Bs
$250 per cleaning
Same day booking is $300, with off-premise laundry
Out of State
Shop for supplies, make sure everything in the house is in good condition. Cleaning not include.
